“The Millennial Therapist”

Specializations: Identity development, Relationship Concerns, Dating issues, Depression, Anxiety, Childhood Trauma
Life happens and therapy helps! Therapy is a safe space to release unwanted thoughts, feelings and emotions while gaining a new perspective & learning new behaviors to help you live your life just as you have envisioned. In our busy lives, we tend to avoid or not even notice our feelings until they suddenly demand our attention. I will encourage you to mindfully move into these (sometimes uncomfortable) feelings, when honored and released, they can be fantastic guides. I am a client centered, strength based therapist that utilizes Cognitive Behavioral and Solution Focused therapies. I work with individuals, couples, and families.
When I work with clients, I spend time understanding in a deep and connected way how you are experiencing your life. With support and non-judgmental curiosity, I will look below the surface. I may examine family of origin dynamics, core beliefs you hold about yourself and where you may have learned them, values you have and how your choices do or do not support them, and when and how you limit yourself or get in your own way.
It is paramount that the relationship between us feels supportive and serves as a container in which you can explore honestly, freely and bravely. It is my priority to make therapy a space where you feel seen and understood. Meeting this priority factors prominently into the work.

Moandra Johnson, MFT

“The Love Doc”

Specializations: Couples Therapy, Sex Therapy, Trauma, Anxiety, Divorce, dating issues
Are you struggling with depression or anxiety? Have you experienced a trauma and having difficulty bouncing back? Are you having difficulties in a relationship? Each of us have unique perspectives, strengths, and goals. At times, we also face challenges and pain that can cause us to lose sight of hope and struggle to find strength, direction, and healing. One of the bravest things you can do is to explore your own patterns and notice the ways they do or do not serve you. I would be honored to come alongside you in your journey toward healing.
I strongly believe in the power of systems thinking, which suggests that individuals cannot be understood in isolation from one another. Instead, as a part of their family, within an emotional unit. I have a passion for working with adults, families, couples, sex therapy, post-affair recovery, and relationship conflict across the lifespan. As well as working with individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, relational problems, and family systems.
In helping you process your individual stories, I utilize creative approaches to allow for both verbal and nonverbal insights. I also utilize cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness techniques to address how emotions, thoughts, and behaviors are impacting your present experience.

I am your therapist Coryn Murphy & I’m glad you are here. As your therapist, I believe in fostering a sense of hope. I know that you are not here because of something that happened today, yesterday or even a week ago. You are here because whatever you are going through hasn’t gotten better over time. Despite your efforts to feel better, you haven’t found a solution that fully works. Something is missing and you feel detached, disengaged, and isolated. You have the desire to move forward but are feeling stuck. I understand how this can cloud your sense of direction. Whatever your personal fog is, my job is to help you gain the clarity that you need. I’m here to believe in you, even on the days that you forget to believe in yourself.
There is something empowering about feeling completely seen and heard and being met with empathy and understanding. My approach is warm and down-to-earth, meeting each client with compassion and support. As a former Montessori teacher, I have a lot of experience with both adults and children. I also spent many years living overseas and understand how difficult life changes can be. I focus on anxiety, depression, life changes, parenting, stress, families and children.
As your therapist, I will use evidence based techniques such as Motivational Interviewing, Existential Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness Based techniques, Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Culturally Sensitive Therapy. I am very excited to work with you soon.

As a counselor, I understand the bravery it takes to be completely vulnerable with another individual. My role in the counseling room is to meet you right where you are with respect, empathy, compassion, and non-judgement listening. I tailor my counseling style to each client since everyone requires different needs at different times. However, as we build a relationship between counselor and client, I will begin challenging you during session to really get you thinking inward. By the end of each meeting, you should leave session feeling heard, your emotions acknowledged and have a better understanding of what is causing your distress.
Education: I received my Bachelor of Science in Social Sciences, Human Services, Mental Health from Mercer University, and currently completing my Master’s in professional counseling with an emphasis in Trauma from Grand Canyon University.
